Table of Showbread:
Exodus 25:23-30
- Make table of shittim wood.
- Length: 4ft. 2in. (estimating a cubit is 25 inches)
- Breadth: 2ft. 1in.
- Height: 3ft. 1.5in.
- Overlay it with pure gold.
- Make a crown of gold round about.
- Make a border of 4in around the table.
- Make a golden crown to the border.
- Make four rings of gold.
- Make four legs for the table.
- Put the four rings in the four corners of the legs for the staves.
- Make two staves of shittim wood.
- Overlay staves with pure gold.
- Make dishes and spoons
- Make covers for dishes.
- Make bowls for table.
- Make them of pure gold.
- Set showbread before YHWH continually.
Golden Candlestick:
Exodus 25:31-40
- Make candlestick of pure beaten gold.
- Make the shaft, branches, bowls, knobs, and flowers of gold.
- Make six branches on two sides; three on each side of shaft.
- Make a bowl in the likeness of an almond with a knob and flower on each of the six branches.
- On the middle shaft make four bowls like almonds with knobs and flowers.
- Make a knob under each two branches of the six branches of the sides.
- Make seven lamps
- Light all seven lamps
- Make tongs and snuffdishes of pure gold.
- Candlestick must be lit every even.
Altar of Incense:
Exodus 30:1-10
- Make altar of shittim wood.
- Make it 25in. square.
- Height: 4ft. 2in.
- Make four horns of the same size on each corner of the altar.
- Overlay all the pure gold.
- Make a crown of gold round about.
- Make four golden rings for the staves to carry altar.
- Make two staves of shittim wood.
- Overlay staves with gold.
- Put altar before the door of the most holy place.
- High priest to burn incense on the altar every morning and evening.
- Do not offer strange incense, or pour drink offerings on it.
- High priest to make an atonement once a year on the altar.
Brazen Altar:
Exodus 27:1-8
- Make altar of shittim wood.
- Length: 10ft. 5in.
- Breadth: 10ft. 5in.
- Make it foursquare.
- Height: 6ft. 3in.
- Make four horns of same size for the four corners of altar.
- Overlay altar with brass.
- Make ashpans and shovels for ashes.
- Make basins for blood and water.
- Make fleshhooks for the meat.
- Make firepans for fire.
- Make all utensils of brass.
- Make grate of brass.
- Make four brazen rings in the corners of the grate.
- Put grate beneath the altar in the middle.
- Make staves of shittim wood
- Cover them with brass.
- Put the staves in the rings of the two sides to carry the altar.
- Make the framework of boards.
Laver of Brass:
Exodus 30:18-21
- Make a laver and it's base of brass.
- Put laver between the temple door and brazen altar.
- Put water in laver for washing.
- All who fail to wash themselves will die.
Holy Anointing Oil:
Exodus 30:23-33
- Make holy anointing oil.
- Pure myrrh, 19 1/2 lbs. (500 shekels in weight)
- Sweet cinnamon, 9 3/4 lbs. (250 shekels in weight)
- Sweet calamus, 9 3/4 lbs. (250 shekels in weight)
- Cassia, 19 1/2 lbs. (500 shekels in weight)
- Olive oil, 6 qts. (Hin)
- Anoint altars and it's vessels, candlestick, laver and its foot, temple, and table of showbread.
- Anoint high priest and sons of Zadok.
- Anointing oil not to be poured on flesh of any man other than priests.
- Make no oil like unto the anointing oil, whosoever does shall die.
Holy Perfume:
Exodus 30:34-38
- Make holy perfume.
- Sweet spices.
- Stacte.
- Onycha.
- Galbanum.
- Pure frankincense.
- Make all of the same weight.
- Make it a perfume, confection after the art of the apothecary.
- Temper spices together.
- Beat some of it very small, and put it before the temple.
- Do not make any perfume in its likeness.
- Whosoever makes any like unto it, shall die.
Holy Showbread:
Leviticus 24:5-10
- Take fine flour and bake into twelve cakes.
- Two tenths deal (1 gal.) of flour for each cake.
- Set the bread in two rows, six cakes each row.
- Set bread on the table of showbread.
- Put pure frankincense on each row.
- Change bread every sabbath day.
- Only the high priest and the sons of Zadok may eat it.
- Bread must be eaten the most holy place.
- It is most holy of all the offerings made by fire.
Eating Holy Things:
Leviticus 22:11-16
- No stranger shall eat the holy things.
- No sojourner of the priests shall eat it.
- No hired servant shall eat of the holy things.
- A priests daughter married to a stranger shall not eat it.
- A priests daughter who is childless may eat it.
- A daughter who is a widow or divorced, returned to her father's house may eat it.
- Any man who eats of the holy things in ignorance must restore with 20% added to the priest.
