Peace Offerings 

Leviticus 3 and 7

Peace offering of the herd: Ox
  1. May be male or female without blemish. 
  2. He that offers it must lay his hand on the head of the offering.
  3. He must kill it at the door of the temple. 
  4. Priest must sprinkle the blood of the offering around the altar of burnt offerings.
  5. Priest must take away all the fat that covers the inwards, the two kidneys, and the caul above the liver.
  6. Priest must burn them on the wood of the altar for a sweet savour to YHWH. 

Peace offering of the flock: Lamb
  1. Maybe male or female without blemish. 
  2. He that offers it must lay his hand on the head of the offering.
  3. He must kill it at the door of the temple. 
  4. Priest must sprinkle the blood of the offering around the altar of burnt offerings.
  5. Priest must take away the whole rump by the backbone, all the fat, the two kidneys, and the caul above the liver.
  6. Priest must burn them on the wood of the altar for a sweet savour to YHWH.

Peace offering of the flock: Goat 
  1. May be male or female without blemish. 
  2. He that offers it must lay his hand on the head of the offering.
  3. He must kill it at the door of the temple. 
  4. Priest must sprinkle the blood of the offering around the altar of burnt offerings.
  5. Priest must take away all the fat that covers the inwards, the two kidneys, and the caul above the liver.
  6. Priest must burn them on the wood of the altar for a sweet savour to YHWH. 

Thanksgiving offerings:
  1. Must offer unleavened cakes mingled with oil.
  2. Unleavened wafers with oil.
  3. Cakes of fine flour, fried with oil. 
  4. Besides the cakes, he may offer leavened bread with the sacrifice of thanksgiving. 
  5. An heave offering (Ex 29:28) must be offered to YHWH, and it shall be for the priest who sprinkles the blood of the peace offering.
  6. The flesh of the thanksgiving offering must be eaten the same day it is offered, leave none until the morning.
  7. If the offering be a vow or voluntary offering it may be eaten the next day, but on the third day it may not be eaten.
  8. Any flesh that remains on the third day must be burned with fire.

Peace offering regulations:
  1. Any flesh eaten on the third day will not be accepted.
  2. The flesh that touches anything unclean must not be eaten, it must be burned with fire.
  3. Anyone who eats the peace offering having any uncleanness upon him will be cut off from his people.
  4. If a man touches anything that is unclean from man, beast, or any abominable thing must not eat of the peace offering.
  5. Must eat no manner of fat.
  6. Must eat no manner of blood.
  7. He that offers his peace offering to YHWH must bring his oblation to YHWH of the peace offering.
  8. His own hands must bring the offering made by fire.
  9. The fat with the breast must he bring, that the breast may be waved for a wave offering before YHWH. (Ex 29:26)
  10. Priest must burn all the fat on the altar.
  11. The breast is for the high priest and his sons.
  12. The right shoulder shall be given to the priest for an heave offering.
  13. The priest that offered the blood of the peace offering shall have the right shoulder, it shall be his part.
