Sin Offerings

If the high priest the seed of Zadok sin:
If the whole nation of Yisrael sin:
If the governor of Yisrael sin:
If any of the common people sin:
If a person commits sin through ignorance:
Sin offering regulations:
Leviticus 4; Numbers 15
If the high priest the seed of Zadok sin:
- He must offer a young bullock without blemish.
- Priest must lay his hand on the head of the bullock.
- He must kill the bullock before YHWH.
- High priest must bring the blood of the bullock inside the temple.
- He must dip his finger in the blood and sprinkle the blood before the veil of the sanctuary seven times.
- High priest must put the blood on the horns of the altar of incense which is before YHWH.
- Priest must pour the rest of the blood at the bottom of the altar of burnt offerings.
- Priest must take away all the fat, two kidneys with the fat which is by the flanks, and the caul above the liver.
- Priest must burn them on the altar of burnt offerings.
- The skin of the bullock, all the flesh, with it's head, legs, inwards, and the dung (the whole bullock) must be taken out of the camp to a clean place where the ashes are poured out.
- All the flesh of the bullock shall be burned on wood with fire.

- Congregation must offer a young bullock before the temple.
- The elders of the congregation must lay their hands on the head of the bullock.
- The bullock must be killed before YHWH.
- High priest must bring the blood of the bullock inside the temple.
- He must dip his finger in the blood and sprinkle the blood before the veil of the sanctuary seven times.
- High priest must put the blood on the horns of the altar of incense which is before YHWH.
- Priest must pour the rest of the blood at the bottom of the altar of burnt offerings.
- Priest must take away all the fat, two kidneys with the fat which is by the flanks, and the caul above the liver.
- Priest must burn them on the altar of burnt offerings.

- Governor must lay his hand on the head of the goat.
- He must kill the goat in the place where they kill the burnt offerings.
- Priest must take the blood of the offering with his finger and put the blood on the horns of the altar of burnt offerings.
- Priest must pour the rest of the blood at the bottom of the altar of burnt offerings.
- Priest must take away all the fat, two kidneys with the fat which is by the flanks, and the caul above the liver.
- Priest must burn them on the altar of burnt offerings.
- Priest shall make atonement and his sin shall be forgiven.
If any of the common people sin:
- Must offer a female kid goat or female lamb without blemish.
- Must lay their hand on the head of the goat or lamb.
- Kill the offering in the place of burnt offerings.
- Priest must take the blood of the offering with his finger and put the blood on the horns of the altar of burnt offerings.
- Priest must pour the rest of the blood at the bottom of the altar of burnt offerings.
- Priest must take away all the fat, two kidneys with the fat which is by the flanks, and the caul above the liver.
- Priest must burn them on the altar of burnt offerings.
- Priest shall make atonement and their sin shall be forgiven.
If a person commits sin through ignorance:
- He shall offer one bullock for a burnt offering.
- Three tenths deal of fine flour with mingled with oil for a meat offering.
- Half a hin of wine for a drink offering.
- He shall offer one kid goat for a sin offering.
Sin offering regulations:
- Sin offering must be killed in the place where the burnt offerings are killed before YHWH.
- The priest that offers the sin offering shall eat it.
- It must be eaten in the holy place.
- Whoever touches the flesh of the offering will be holy.
- When the sprinkled blood come upon any garment, the garment must be washed in the holy place.
- If the garment is washed in a clay vessel, the vessel must be broken.
- If the garment is washed in a brasen pot, it must be scrubbed and rinsed in water.
- All males of the priest may eat of it.
- Any sin offering where the blood is brought into the temple, in the holy place, must not be eaten; it must be burned with fire outside the camp.
